My mother lived with us for several years before she passed away. She was able to cook as long as the dishes were short and sweet. This is one that we came up with that she managed with no problems. Just put it in the dish and set the timer. It never fails. Feel free to try different kinds of soup mixes in this recipe. Just use the dry soup mix that best suits your families tastes. Ingredients:
4 pork chops, uncooked |
1 cup uncooked rice |
1 package onion soup mix |
2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Place pork chops in baking dish. 2. Pour rice over top of pork chops. 3. Mix water and onion soup mix and pour over rice and pork chops. 4. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done. |
