Something different to banish burger burn-out! You can substitute lean ground pork, chicken or beef. Adapted from a China Boy recipe. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground turkey |
1/2 cup chow mein noodles, coarsely crushed |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce or 1 tablespoon dark molasses |
1 teaspoon onion salt |
1 teaspoon prepared mustard |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and shape into four patties. 2. Grill or boil to desired doneness. 3. Serve with additional hoisin sauce or sweet chili sauce instead of ketchup. |
