Traditional rice meatball. Good comfort food! Courtesy of Karen Bressler. Ingredients:
2 lbs hamburger |
1/3 cup oatmeal |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
2 tablespoons ketchup |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 egg |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon onion salt |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and roll into walnut size balls. 2. Roll in rice. 3. Brown with 2 tablespoons of butter in skillet. 4. Place meatballs in a baking dish. 5. Mix one bottle of BBQ sauce and one bottle of water. 6. Pour sauce over meatballs. 7. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour. 8. Or, take 1 cup cooked rice and mix with rest of meatball ingredients and continue with recipe as indicated! |
