POPPY SEED DRESSING This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Buckley Estate in Garland, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
2/3 cup cider vinegar |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
3 green onions chopped |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons dry mustard |
2 cups vegetable oil |
3 tablespoons poppy seeds |
Directions:
1. In blender combine vinegar, sugar, onions, salt and mustard then blend well until smooth. 2. Turning blender on high add oil in a slow and steady stream then blend until thick and creamy. 3. Transfer to a container and stir in poppy seeds. 4. Keep refrigerated until ready to use. |
