This is a dressing that was a speciality at one of our local restuarants. They published the recipe in the paper. The recipe calls for 1 1/4 cup sugar. I tried to change it and the it would not submit corrected. I will try again. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons dry mustard |
1/4 onion, sliced thin |
2/3 cup white vinegar |
2 cups vegetable oil |
2 teaspoons poppy seeds |
Directions:
1. Blend slowly in blender all items except oil and poppy seeds. 2. Add oil while blender is going. 3. Add poppy seeds. 4. Refrigerate until ready to use. |
