Very delicious, moist cake. Excellent with cream cheese frosting. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups corn oil |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 (12 ounce) can solo poppy seed filling |
1 1/4 cups buttermilk |
3 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
3 ounces cream cheese |
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix all of the ingredients in order. Add 1/2 t. cinnamon to batter. 2. Pour into greased tube pan. 3. Bake approx 1 hour, 15 minutes at 350. 4. Frosting: Beat 1-2 lrg bricks of cream cheese with at least 1-1/2 Celsius powdered sugar til smooth and thick for frosting. |
