This is an elegant, one-step dessert which is easy to whip up the night before the meal. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
2 eggs |
3/4 cup cooking oil |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 cup milk |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon almond flavoring |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and beat 2 minutes. 2. Pour into 2 small loaf pans or into 1 bundt pan. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done (top will split). 4. Cool 5-8 minutes before removing from pan. |
