Mike came home after his father passed away and asked me to make these. I had to email Uncle Pete because Mike said that dad did it a special way. Uncle Pete said No secret recipe, just the basics. Ingredients:
6 eggs |
6 slices of sourdough bread |
butter |
Directions:
1. Butter a skillet 2. dig a hole in the sourdough bread, butter one side and lay it, butter side down on the skillet, crack an egg into the hole. Repeat with all the eggs and bread. 3. Gently flip when bread is toasty brown, and toast the other side. 4. Serve as is or with sausage patties or bacon striips |
