A nice light change from breakfast or dinner rolls. You can add ingredients to give them a delicious flavor.
Ingredients:
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp margarine or butter, melted
3 eggs
1 cup milk whole, skimmed or 2
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F, 180C, Gas Mark 5
2. Grease 10 custard cups or muffin tin (do not use cupcake papers)
3. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl using electric mixrer
4. Pour batter into cups or tin, filling them 1/2 full
5. Bake for 35 minutes or until popovers are frim and golden
6. You may add 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled crisp bacon to the batter for a breakfast popover,
