popcorn balls Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/3 cup dark corn syrup |
1/3 cup water |
1/4 cup butter |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon vanilla |
4 pints popped corn |
Directions:
1. combine sugar, syrup, water, butter and salt in a saucepan, bring to boil. 2. cook until mixture forms a meduim hard ball when dropped in water. Add vanilla and pour over hot popped corn. cool a few minutes, then butter your hands and form into balls. 3. makes 12. |
