I adapted this dish from a traditional Welsh recipe. Ingredients:
1 lb potato |
1/2 lb rutabaga |
1/2 lb onion |
1 lb bacon, rashers |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes, rutabaga and onions. 2. Place them in salted water and bring to the boil. 3. Then add the slices of bacon and add pepper to taste. 4. Cover and simmer for 11/2 to 2 hours. 5. Drain and serve hot. |
