I was very skeptical of this recipe when I first heard it, but I made it and it is good. The pomegranate gives it a very nice tang. Enjoy Ingredients:
1/2 large white onion |
2 cloves garlic minced |
2 fresh serrano chilies seeded and minced |
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro |
juice from 1 lime |
2 large ripe avocados |
3 tablespoons pomegranate arils |
Directions:
1. Combine onion, garlic, chilies and cilantro in a mixing bowl. 2. Add lime juice and salt then set aside. 3. Place avocados in another bowl and mash with a fork. 4. Fold in onion mixture and pomegranate arils keeping texture firm. 5. Put plastic wrap over the guacamole touching the entire surface until ready to serve. |
