I need some sorrel recipes. I haven't tried this yet, but looks good. It says beef broth, but I think chicken might be good also. Ingredients:
1/2 lb sorrel |
1 onion |
4 cups beef broth |
4 tablespoons flour |
2 cups milk |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 cup potato |
4 hardboiled egg |
Directions:
1. Peel and grate potatoes. 2. Bring beef broth to a boil. 3. Add grated potatoes. 4. Add finely chopped sorrel. 5. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. 6. Add the flour to the milk 7. Pour into the soup. 8. Season to taste. 9. Add butter. 10. Add beaten eggs in a stream. 11. Serve over sliced hard boiled eggs. |
