With today's food processors, homemade chrzan is a snap to make. Ingredients:
1 lb horseradish root, peeled and grated |
1/2 cup white wine vinegar or 1/2 cup white vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients until well combined. 2. Pace into a clean, sterilized pint jar. 3. Store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. |
