Ingredients:
1/2 small onion, sliced |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
10 whole cloves |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon red pepper |
1 1/2 pounds mullet fillets |
lemon wedges |
Directions:
1. Add water to a large skillet to a depth of 1 inch. Add first 6 ingredients; mix well, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add fish; cover and simmer 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. 2. Transfer to a warm serving platter; discard cooking liquid. Garnish fish with lemon wedges. Serve immediately. |
