I was asked to cater a Turkish menu and this is one of the delights I served and it was a huge hit. Read more . his recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc. for as many serving as you like. This is a very tasty dish and one that I make often for myself when I want a light and tasty breakfast. It's healthy and very tasty. Ingredients:
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
5 cups water |
1/2 cup yogurt |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 tablespoon butter |
1 teaspoon mint flakes |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1 clove garlic minced |
Directions:
1. Bring to boil water, vinegar and salt in a medium pot. 2. When it starts boiling turn it down to medium heat. 3. Break eggs one at a time in small bowl and glide one by one into hot water. 4. Cook 4 minutes then take them with slotted spoon onto a plate. 5. Combine yogurt and garlic then pour yogurt mixture over eggs. 6. Heat butter in a skillet and when it sizzles add paprika. 7. Stir for 30 seconds then pour on tp of eggs and yogurt. 8. Sprinkle mint flakes over top. |
