Plums With Chevre and Lavender Sugar |

20 Minute Meals - This comes from a menu called “Lunch on the Riviera”. Ingredients:
4 ripe plums |
4 ounces goat cheese (chevre) |
fresh mint sprig |
1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers |
1/4 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Halve plums; remove stones. Place plum halves cut sides up on dessert plates. 2. Fill center of each plum half with a dollop of cheese. Gently press halves together to reassemble plums. 3. Insert a mint sprig in the stem end of each plum. 4. Crush lavender with sugar in a mortar; sprinkle over plums. |
