As soon as the plums are ripe, I want to give this a try. Ingredients:
4 quarts plums |
4 cups sugar |
3 cups dark rum |
Directions:
1. Wash and quarter the plums. Fill them in a 4-quart mason jar. 2. Add 3 cups of dark rum and 4 cups of sugar. 3. Turn the jar once every day for 15 days to allow the sugar to dissolve. 4. Filter out the fruit bits after 16 days. 5. Plum Liquor is ready. |
