FOUND RECIPE ON A LOOSE PAGE, NO IDEA WHAT BOOK. MAKES A NICE CHANGE FROM APPLES OR APRICOTS WITH PORK.
Ingredients:
4 pork chops
500 g tinned plums
1 onion
oil
black pepper
Directions:
1. DRAIN PLUMS AND RESERVE SYRUP.
2. CHOP ONION.
3. BRUSH CHOPS& PUT UNDER HOT GRILL FOR ABOUT 10 MINS.
4. MEANWHILE FRY ONION IN OIL TILL SOFT, THEN ADD REST OF SYRUP.
5. BOIL FOR FEW MINUTES THEN ADD PLUMS& PEPPER.
6. SIMMER GENTLY TURN CHOPS& GRILL FOR ANOTHER 10 MINUTES, BASTING AS NECESSARY.
7. SERVE PLUMS WITH CHOPS& POUR SAUCE OVER.
8. GOES WELL WITH POTATO WEDGES.
