Planters Perfect Pecan Pie |

I found this recipe at Kraft Foods - very good!! Ingredients:
3 eggs |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 cup planters pecan halves |
1 ready-to-use pie crust (1/2 of 15oz package) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Beat eggs lightly in medium bowl. Add corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt; mix well. Stir in pecans; set aside. 3. Prepare pie crust as directed on package for unfilled one crust pie using 9-inch pie plate. Add filling. 4. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F Continue baking 30-35 minutes or until top is lightly browned and evenly puffed. Cool completely. |
