need a 5 min solution to grumbling tummies on the go...try this quick finger food that can be used as a snack, or even for a quick lunch for us busy moms! Ingredients:
10 flour tortillas |
4 ounces tomato sauce |
40 slices pepperoni |
1 lb mozzarella cheese |
1/4 teaspoon basil |
1/4 garlic |
1/4 oregano |
Directions:
1. Take can tomato sauce and add spices; mixing well and set aside. 2. In a skillet use non-stick cooking oil to coat the bottom. 3. lay a tortilla flat in the pan. 4. put 1/4 Celsius cheese on half of the tortilla. 5. top cheese with 4 to 5 slices of pepperoni. 6. fold the tortilla in half and brown lightly. 7. flip and brown lightly. 8. Place on a plate and pour a small amount of sauce on the side for dipping. 9. serve with freshly sliced green peppers and carrots. |
