From R. Reisman Ingredients:
2 teaspoons vegetable oil |
1 1/2 cups diced onions |
2 teaspoons minced garlic |
6 ounces extra lean ground beef |
1 1/2 cups pasta sauce |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
6 large flavored flour tortillas |
1/2 cup shredded lowfat mozzarella cheese |
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. In a nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray, heat oil over medium-high heat; cook onions and garlic for 8 minutes or until onions are brown. 3. Stir in ground beef; cook for 5 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink, stirring to break meat up. 4. Stir in tomato sauce and basil; cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. 5. Divide beef mixture among the tortillas, spreading it in the centre; sprinkle with cheeses. Fold bottom half up to centre, fold in sides, and then roll. Place seam down on rimmed baking sheet. 6. Bake in centre of oven for 5 minutes or until tortillas are just warm and slightly crisp. |
