I make this and keep it in individual portions in the freezer. Just pull it out and reheat before using it on your favorite homemade pizza. You can also add it to ground beef for a great pasta sauce! Ingredients:
15 ounces tomato sauce |
15 ounces tomato paste |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 dash red pepper flakes |
2 teaspoons dried oregano |
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil (or 2 teaspoons dried) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. 2. Heat until ingredients are combined and sauce is heated through. |
