1 small onion, chopped |
1/4 chopped green bell pepper |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1/2 teaspoon dried basil |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Spray medium saucepan with cooking spray; heat over medium until hot. 2. Saute onion, bell pepper, and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes. 3. Stir in tomato sauce and herbs; heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. 4. Season to taste with salt and pepper. |
