Two delicious foods combined into one Ingredients:
1 lb extra lean ground turkey |
3/4 cup low-sodium spaghetti sauce |
1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese |
1/2 cup chopped green pepper |
1/4 cup minced onion |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 9 inch pie plate with vegetable oil. 2. Pat turkey into pie plate. 3. Put meat into bowl, mix egg and vegetables into turkey. 4. Cook turkey at for 45 minutes. 5. Take out loaf and top with spaghetti sauce and cheese. 6. Return turkey to the oven and heat until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes. Take out loaf, and take the temperature with a meat thermometer. Once it is 165 degrees in the center, it is done. |
