After months of playing with different ingredients, different amounts this is what I have come up with and it is now the family favorite and our Friday Night Dinner - I made two pizza's with the dough! One white pizza, and one regular or one salad pizza. Ingredients:
2 cups warm water |
2 teaspoons yeast |
2 teaspoons sugar |
3 cups bread flour |
3 cups semolina flour |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. You will be using a bread machine:. 2. Add yeast and sugar to the two cups of water. 3. Add bread flour. 4. Add semolina. 5. Add oil and salt. 6. Put bread machine on dough cycle. 7. Let the bread machine do it job and in 1 1/2 hours you will have enough dough for 2 pizzas. I make one thick and one regular pizza with this dough and it is more than enough. 8. Suggestions:. 9. White Pizza - Bake dough for about 10-15 minutes until just starting to cook, add ricotta, fresh garlic, mozzeralla cheese and a little oregano. 10. Salad Pizza - Bake crust until fully baked. Take out of oven and top with your favorite salad. I make Greek Salad along with dressing. A family favority. |
