3 lbs hamburger |
2 medium onions, chopped |
salt and pepper |
1/2 lb extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup |
1 (10 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup |
1/4 teaspoon oregano |
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/8 cup salad oil |
8 hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger and onions and season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain. While hamburger is hot, add remaining ingredients except buns. Mix well and refrigerate for 4-6 hours. Remove from refrigerator about 1 hour before using. Spread on bun halves and broil until cheese melts. |
