Another Pittsburgh staple you'll find in nearly every casual restaurant in Pittsburgh. I think Primanti's had an influence on this one! Do NOT turn up your nose at French fries on the top! You're going to start wanting fries on ALL your salads. Read more . Trust me. Ingredients:
1 ribeye steak or other favorite steak to taste, grilled to your liking |
your favorite greens |
good tomatoes |
red onion, sliced thinly |
sliced cucumbers |
shredded mozzarella |
fresh hot french fries |
ranch dressing or whatever your fav is - balsamic is nice, too |
Directions:
1. On a large dinner plate, make a nice pile of greens and arrange the rest of the veggies on and around the plate. Top each serving with 1/2 of the sliced steak - make it pretty! Then top the steak with the cheese and finish off with the HOT fries! Serve the dressing on the side and enjoy. Yinz'll think yer in Pittsburgh n'at. |
