This is an easy recipe I always make and it's very low cal and healthy! I used this recipe when i had limited ingredients and had nothing to make in the house. Now my family and friends rave about it. These taste so good and are healthy and low calorie! 1 standard Pita Pizza contains 200 calories Ingredients:
1 whole wheat pita bread |
2 tablespoons marinara sauce (or other pasta sauce) |
1/4 of a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese (low-fat) |
pepperoni |
basil, cilantro, powdered garlic, oregano or other herbs |
mushroom, peppers, onions etc |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients on top of the pita bread. Put in Toaster Oven/Oven on high for 4-5 Minutes. Cut in pieces and enjoy! |
