Pistachio Nut Swirl Cake or Coffeecake

This is a recipe starting with a cake mix. My daughter gave this to me years ago. It could be used as a coffee cake, too.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant pistachio pudding mix
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
1. FILLING:.
2. Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and nuts together and set aside.
3. CAKE:.
4. Mix the cake mix, pudding, eggs, sour cream, oil, food coloring, and almond together.
5. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes; scrape and beat another minute.
6. Grease and flour a 10 tube pan.
7. Pour 1/3 of the batter in the pan.
8. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the sugar mixture and then put another layer of batter, and another layer of sugar.
9. Top with batter.
10. Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes or till done.
