This dessert's Christmas colors really add to the festivity of a buffet table, but it's the creamy, cool taste that keeps people coming back for more. Kids will enjoy helping when you make this no-bake treat.
Ingredients:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 32 squares)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
cream cheese layer:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
pudding layer:
2-1/2 cups cold milk
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant pistachio pudding mix
topping:
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 cans (21 ounces each) cherry pie filling
Directions:
1. Combine the cracker crumbs, butter and sugar; press into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Refrigerate. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar; fold in whipped topping. Spread over crust. In a bowl, beat milk and pudding mixes on low speed for 2 minutes. Spread over cream cheese layer; chill until firm, about 1 hour.
2. Spread whipped topping over pudding layer. Top with pie filling. Refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares. Yield: 12-15 servings.
