Make a gourmet-style ketchup by adding a jar of roasted piquillo peppers, almond oil and kosher salt to bottled ketchup. Ingredients:
1/4 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup jarred roasted piquillo peppers*, patted dry |
1 tablespoon almond oil |
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
russet frites |
Directions:
1. Whirl ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Serve with Russet Frites. 2. *Piquillos are small, mildly spicy red Spanish peppers; find in well-stocked grocery stores. 3. Note: Nutritional analysis is per serving. |
