If you like cilantro add a whole lot more than recommended. Recipe from Green Cuisine Cookbook 2006. Ingredients:
1 cup pinto beans , canned |
1/2 cup onions, diced |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/8 tsp black pepper |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/3 cup salsa |
1/4 cup cilantro |
Directions:
1. Bring beans and onions to a boil and simmer for 1 hour and 30 min. 2. Add everything else and mash with potato masher. 3. Then serve. 4. If not using dried beans, you do not need the water. |
