Pink Margarita Slushes a La Martha Stewart |

These frothy margarita slushes get their pink tint from watermelon chunks! You can easily make this a virgin cocktail; just sub orange juice for the alcohol. Adapted from Martha Stewart's Healthy and Quick Cookbook. Ingredients:
4 cups cubed ripe seedless watermelon (about 1/4 medium) |
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
2/3 cup good quality white tequila |
1 1/2 ounces orange-flavored liqueur (such as cointreau or grand marnier) |
4 tablespoons sugar (or to taste) |
ice |
watermelon wedges, for garnish |
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine all ingredients , fill with ice, and process until smooth. 2. Pour into 4 tall glasses and garnish with a watermelon wedge (if desired). |
