Ingredients:
9 oz white rum (1 cup plus 2 tablespoons) |
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1 1/2 teaspoons grenadine |
4 1/2 tablespoons superfine granulated sugar |
garnish: lime slices |
Directions:
1. Stir together all ingredients in a pitcher until sugar is dissolved, then add about 2 cups ice cubes and stir until very cold. Pour daiquiris through a sieve into Martini glasses. 2. Cooks' note: For a more striking presentation, you can spread some sugar on a plate, then rub rims of glasses with a wedge of lime and dip into sugar. |
