This is a delicious cake! One of my absolute favorites! Ingredients:
1 can sliced pineapple |
1/2 can crushed pineapple |
cherries |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup butter |
1 box french vanilla cake (or any white or yellow cake mix) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in 9 x 13 cake pan 2. Add brown sugar and spread evenly in pan 3. Place pineapple slices in pan 4. Place cherries in pineapple centers 5. Spread crushed pineapple between slices 6. Mix cake mix following box directions 7. Pour cake mix over pineapple 8. Bake 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean |
