Traditional recipe in my family. No one can resist it. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 cup butter |
2 eggs |
1 1/4 cups sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 (398 ml) can pineapple |
Directions:
1. ``Syrup``:. 2. Melt the butter. 3. Mix with brown sugar. Put in a round 10 inch(or 9) round cake pan that has at least 1 3/4 inch sides. Place the pineapples with the syrup. 4. Cake:. 5. A.Cream the butter. Mix the sugar and the eggs together. Add to the butter. 6. B.Filter the flour, the baking powder, baking soda and salt together. 7. Mix A and B together while alternating with the milk. 8. (Start and finish with a dry ingredient). 9. Cook at about 350 to 375 degrees Farenheit for about 20 minutes(sometimes more, can take up to 45 minutes), depending on your oven. |
