spicy tuna with a pineapple sauce Ingredients:
12 oz. tuna |
1 cup pineapple juice |
3/4 cup pineapple chunks |
3 tsp. honey |
1 tsp. sugar |
1 t. garlic |
Directions:
1. season tuna with cayenne, salt, pepper and chili powder. Sear on both sides in pan with garlic. Pour pineapple juice in pan with fish and cover for 3 min. Add Pineapple chunks, honey, and sugar and saute another 2 minutes. Add a sprinkle of cornstarch to make sauce thick top with a dash of lemon juice and salt to taste. Serve with Rice and asparagus or swiss chard. |
