This recipe is an easy one from my sister - in - law, Barbara. It can be used as a side dish for ham or pork chops or as a dessert! Ingredients:
1 cup drained crushed pineapple |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup butter (softened) |
4 eggs |
6 slices white bread (monk's bread if you have it) |
Directions:
1. Blend sugar and butter. Mix in eggs one at a time. Add well - drained pineapple. Cut the crust off the slices of white bread and cut into cubes. Add the bread cubes to the creamed mixture. Pour into well greased 1 quart casserole dish. Cook covered for 1 hours at 350. |
