A sheet cake with crushed pineapple, vanilla and chopped walnuts covered in a cream cheese and powdered sugar topping! A great fall dessert especially for Thanksgiving or Christmas! Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
20 ounces crushed pineapple in juice |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional) |
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup butter |
3 cups powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix cake by hand in order given. 2. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased 11 x 15 pan for 25 minutes. Note: You can use a 13 x 9 pan. 3. Spread topping on cake while still warm. |
