This is a super delicious cake! Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 (1 lb) can crushed pineapple in juice |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1/2-1 cup butter |
2/3 cup milk |
1 cup walnuts (chopped) |
1 cup coconut |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix the flour,2 cups sugar, 2 eggs, can of pineapple with juice, baking soda and salt together and pour into a large cookie sheet with sides. 2. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. 3. For topping; In a saucepan, bring sugar, butter and milk to a boil; cook for 5 minutes (slowly). 4. Cool. 5. Add nuts, coconut and vanilla. 6. Spread this on warm cake. 7. Put under broiler for a few minutes until brown and crunchy. 8. Enjoy! |
