Pineapple-Sausage Nibblers |

I like the flavour of pineapple and it is an easy appetizer to make and one that can be frozen. It came from a Church cookbook. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 can pineapple chunk (19 oz.) |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 teaspoon soya sauce |
1 lb pork sausage |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
Directions:
1. Cook sausage in oil until brown. 2. Drain well and. 3. cut into thirds. 4. Over medium heat, cook drained. 5. pineapple juice, sugar and cornstarch until thick. 6. Add vinegar, soya sauce, sausages and pineapple. 7. Heat for 5 minutes. 8. Serve hot in chafing dish with cocktail sticks. 9. Can be frozen. |
