My family does not really like hot or spicy so this is for those who like salsa but like it on the sweet side. Ingredients:
8 ounces pineapple slices (i like to set aside the juice and add it later) |
2 tomatoes (chopped) |
1 -2 fresh garlic clove |
2 -3 teaspoons cilantro |
1/2 teaspoon salt (our family uses rock sea salt) |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 tablespoon lemon juice (i used fresh lemon and squeezed it from 1/2 of a lemon) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl- including seasoning. Taste and if you prefer to add more seasoning or hot spices, peppers feel free. 2. Add 1/2 of the set aside pineapple juice and then use a chopper to chop all of the ingredients. Once the ingredients are chopped up add the remaining pineapple juice and chill for one hour. |
