I am an 8 year old girl. My Mom was making salmon one night and I wanted to make something special for it. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice (cut chunks in half or smaller) |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
2 -4 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Put pinapple, juice and sugar in small sauce pan. 2. Cook to reduce volume by 1/2. 3. Add soy sauce and pepper flakes. 4. Cook for several minutes - until sugar is disolved. 5. Add lemon or lime juice. 6. Add butter and drizzle over grilled, sauted, or baked salmon as soon as the butter melts. 7. Oh and of course save some pineapple for yourself. |
