This fruity, nutty cheesy throw-together is a great addition to a party table full of delitable delights. Quick easy and just plain simple and tasty. Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese |
1 (3 1/2 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained |
2 tbsp green peppers, chopped finely |
1 tsp lawry's season salt |
1 1/2 - 2 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. On a small cookie sheet lay out the pecans and set aside. 2. Mix together cream cheese, pineapple, green pepper and season salt. 3. Shape cheese mixture into a ball, and gently roll into the pan with pecans, until completely covered. Reshape as you go to form a ball or a log shape. 4. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. Serve with crackers, thick chips or even crisp cookies. |
