This is from the Nu'uanu Congregational Church's 1985 Centennial Cookbook. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/4 cup breadcrumbs |
1 tablespoon minced onion |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon crushed gingerroot |
1/2 cup crushed pineapple |
1/4 teaspoon msg (optional) |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Form 20 balls. 2. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or broil until brown. 3. Serve hot. |
