This is one of my grandmother's recipes. I cannot personally attest to the taste since I am allergic to Gelatin but my family all loves it.and it disapears quick at picnics and potlucks Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple |
1 (2 ounce) package sugar free lime gelatin |
1 cup boiling water |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese |
1 cup chopped celery |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. drain pineapple reserving juice and set aside. 2. In a medium bowl stir in gelatin and boiling for 2 minutes. 3. stir in pineapple juice. 4. stir in cream cheese until blended. 5. stir in pineapple and celery until combined. 6. pour into a 2 quart baking dish. 7. Top with pecans and chill 3 hours. |
