Not too sweet-crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. I estimated the yield, I get a different number every time I make them. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup crushed pineapple |
1/2 cup pineapple juice |
oil (for deep frying) |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingrediants together in a medium sized bowl. 2. dough will be thick. 3. Drop tablespoons of dough into oil that is about 3 inches deep. 4. Oil should be about 350F degrees. 5. Fry for about 2 minutes per side. 6. Drain on paper towels. 7. I sometimes sprinkle these with xxx sugar. |
