PINEAPPLE DESSERT CAKE This recipe came from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brooks Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1988. Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix |
1 large can crushed pineapple drained |
1 cup pecans |
2 sticks margarine |
Directions:
1. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan then spread drained pineapple on bottom. 2. Sprinkle with 1/2 package cake mix and a layer of pecans. 3. Sprinkle remaining cake mix on top. 4. Dab with margarine and bake at 300 for 1-1/2 hours then cool and cut into squares. |
