This is a little like pineapple upside down cake Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix |
1 cup brown sugar |
20 oz. can crushed pineapple |
1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding |
1 large tub cool whip |
Directions:
1. Bake cake in 9x13 pan according to package directions. About 10 minutes before cake is done put brown sugar and crushed pineapple (including juice) in saucepan; bring to boil. When cake is done take out and make holes with a fork over top of cake and pour hot mixture over cake. Let the cake cool completely. Beat pudding according to box directions and pour over pineapple mixture. Let set about 15 minutes. Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Sprinkle coconut and walnuts over top of Cool Whip. |
